“Just think about it deeply, then forget it…then an idea will jump up in your face.” - Don Draper, Mad Men

Over time I have found this to be one of the best ways to trick my brain into coming up with an idea. When faced with a problem that I need to solve, I often work on it for a day or two, using almost all the creativity and logic I have. The process for that is best explained in this hack from Frank Chimero. Then I just stop thinking about it. At least actively spend any time thinking about it. Then in one of those duller moments of everyday monotony, the idea presents itself. Seriously, that is the secret. I like to call it fooling my brain into coming up with ideas.
